Police extracts vital information from the slain model’s laptop

DAVAO CITY — The Special Investigation Task Group Plaza extracted vital informaton from the personal laptop of the slain model/businesswoman Yvonne Chua Plaza.

The vital information according the Police Major Eudisan Gultiano, the spokesperson of the task group,   gives the police a good direction in the investigation towards the solution of the case “The information is vital in our investigation and we have direction in our investigation now.”

When asked, if the investigators have known who was behind the booking and registration of the house which Plaza rented during the commission of the crime, Gultiano answered in affirmative but refused to divulge the name because the investigation is ongoing.

Asked if the task group was furnished a copy of the victims Vblog with a politician driving the car, which is now circulating in social media messengers, the spokesperson answered “We didn’t receive such video and we are not aware about it.”

Plaza 38 years old  was shot at close range after she disembarked from a Mitsubishi Montero sport utility vehicle.

She was about to enter her rented house at Purok 18, Buttercup Street of Green Meadows Subdivision in Barangay Sto. Niño, Tugbok district, here at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 29. She was killed instantly.

Earlier on, Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos ordered the speedy investigation of the case as the victims family sought Abalos’ help to get justice.

The Davao City Police Office has offered a P1-million bounty to anyone who can offer information about the suspects. But until now, no one has come forward.-Editha Z. Caduaya
