Police Lieutenant Colonel Amor Somine of Koronadal City Police told reporters, Patrolman Romgie Larroza Llorito who is assigned at 1202nd Maneuver Company, RMFB 12 in Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat was at the vegetables section of the market when his service pistol fell “He tried to grab it but it exploded hitting his balls which passed through his hip bone, he is now at the hospital.”

The marketgoers immediately rescued Llorito and brought him to the hospital.

Somine theorized, Llorito’s service pistol could have been loaded which triggered the explosion.

But netizen’s were quick to react saying, the police officer should have not brought his service pistol because he was not on duty while others said the policeman should have placed his firearm inside a sling bag.-Marvin Revilla
