Police seize nearly P1 million of suspected shabu in Davao del Sur

DAVAO CITY — An estimated P904,000 of illegal drugs were seized and purchased in a joint anti-illegal drug operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region XI (PDEA-XI) and the Santa Cruz Municipal Police Station led to the arrest of two high-value drug suspects from Midsayap, Cotabato Province.

The operation occurred around 1:00 a.m. on February 18 in Purok Perlas, Barangay Bato, Santa Cruz. Authorities identified the suspects as 27-year-old Norodin and 24-year-old Said.

According to PDEA-XI, the suspects sold ₱40,000 worth of suspected shabu to an undercover PDEA agent. Additionally, two large sachets containing suspected shabu were confiscated from their possession.

The total value of the seized and purchased illegal drugs was estimated at ₱904,000.
