Public school teacher arrested in Sultan Kudarat drug bust

KALAMANSIG, Sultan Kudarat – A public school teacher-in-charge was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) at 8:00 p.m. on March 15, 2025.

PDEA 12 Regional Director Benjamin Recites III identified the suspect as Alias George, 37, alias, married, and a resident of Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat.

According to PDEA, authorities had been monitoring the suspect’s activities for several months before carrying out the operation.

Seized from his possession were six (6) grams of suspected shabu, valued at P40,800.

The PDEA Sultan Kudarat Provincial Office coordinated with the PNP Kalamansig Municipal Police Station, the 2nd Sultan Kudarat Provincial Mobile Force Company, and the PNP Regional Intelligence Division 12 Track Team Delta.
