Corpuz was reported missing in the afternoon of February 28 after she left from their residence and asked permission from her husband to go to the tailoring shop at San Pedro Village, Buhangin but failed to return homet until she was found lifeless at the grassy area at the back of McDonald’s beside Ladislawa Village in Buhangin District the following day.

According to Aguilar the police are committed to solve the killing of the 47-year old Corpuz, a resident of NCCC Village, Bajada this city.

“Ang pinakamaayong balita is padulong na gyud para mahatagan og hustisya ang pamilya sa biktima since naka-identify nata, naka-file na ta og case,” Aguilar said.

DCPO Chief Colonel Kirby John Kraft previously confirmed that Corpuz had been raped and eventually killed by the suspect.
