Rosete is Davao Region’s top cop

DAVAO CITY — Police Brigadier General Leon Victor Rosete officially assumed as Police Regional Office XI director on Friday replacing BGen Nicolas Torre III.

The turnover ceremony was presided by Philippine National Police Chief, PGen Rommel Francisco Marbil and witnessed by Interior Secretary Benhur C. Abalos.

Prior to his assumption at PRO XI, Rosete used to serve as Acting District Director of the National Capital Region Police Office.

Meanwhile, Torre assumed as acting director of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).

In a statement, PRO XI stated “With this change of command between two equally efficient and capable Police Commissioned Officers, PRO 11 will continue to uphold its mission to serve and protect the people of the Davao Region and maintain peace and order to the highest standard possible.”

Rosete is a graduate of Philippine National Police Academy batch ’95.
