Service disruptions on August 13 in Panabo City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct switching power interruptions on August 13, Sunday, affecting customers in Panabo City.

These power interruptions are necessary to conduct maintenance works at San Vicente Substation.

The first power interruption will be for 2 hours from 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. to facilitate the transfer of loads from the affected lines to nearby substations. Meanwhile, the normalization or return of loads back to their normal set-up will be for another 2 hours from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Specifically affected are customers from Brgy San Vicente up to Panabo Wharf including Gonzalez Village, Zafra Village, Brgy San Pedro, schools, and industrial/commercial establishments in the area.

Also affected are customers in Panabo Plastic Plant, Dole, TADECO Wharf, DIPFE, and areas nearby Rivera Hospital, Panabo Central Elementary School, Panabo City Hall, Jollibee, Panadero, Public Market, Bus Terminal, and along National Highway, and nearby areas.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.

Safety is of paramount importance to the company and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity area/s where line repairs and maintenance are being done. Please heed and follow warning signs, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment.
