Service disruptions on February 18 in different parts of Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct a series of power interruptions on February 18, 2024, Sunday, affecting customers in different parts of Davao City.

The switching power interruption will be for 1 hour from 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. to facilitate the transfer of loads to nearby substations. Meanwhile, the normalization or return of loads back to their normal set-up will be for another 1 hour from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Specifically affected are customers from Mabini Street corner Quirino Street, from Ulas Market Vendors Association to South Pacific Pequeño, and nearby areas.

In connection, an 8-hour power interruption will be conducted from 12:01 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on the same day, February 18, Sunday. Specifically affected are customers from Motortrade Mintal to Mintal Police Station and nearby areas, including the Lower Talomo plant and DCWD Tugbok Production Well #4.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.

Safety is of paramount importance to the company and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity area/s where line repairs and maintenance are being done. Please heed and follow warning signs, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment.
