Service disruptions on November 18 and 20 in Davao City and Davao del Norte

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct a series of power interruptions on November 18 and 20, Saturday and Monday, affecting customers in Davao City and Davao del Norte.

The first power interruption will be for 1 hour, from 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on November 18, Saturday, to conduct isolation of affected lines. This power interruption is necessary to conduct maintenance works at NGCP-Davao.

Specifically affected are customers in the entire Bago Gallera, Bago Aplaya, Baliok, Dumoy, Lubogan, Mulig, Dalio, Bato, Bayabas, Marapangi, Toril Poblacion, Lizada, Marapangi, and immediate environs.

Also affected are customers from corner Gempesaw St., Sta. Ana Avenue, Boulevard to San Pedro St., and neighboring areas.

The second power interruption will be for 1 hour from 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on November 20, Monday, to conduct another isolation of affected lines for the same purpose.

Specifically affected are customers in the parts of Toril Poblacion from Davao Light Toril Substation to Mercury Drug Toril and the entire Bayabas-Eden road and immediate environs.

Also affected are customers from Davao Light Dumoy Substation going to Mergrande Resort and neighboring areas.

Customers from the parts of Talomo from Uratex Dumoy to Daliao going to Valles Resort and immediate environs will also be affected by this service disruption.

Meanwhile, the normalization or return of loads back to their normal set-up will be for another 1 hour, from 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. on November 20, Monday.

Specifically affected are customers in the entire Bago Gallera, Bago Aplaya, Baliok, Dumoy, Lubogan, Mulig, Daliao, Bato, Bayabas, Marapangi, Toril Poblacion, Lizada, Marapangi and immediate environs.

Also affected are customers from the corner of Gempesaw St., Sta. Ana Avenue, Boulevard to San Pedro St., and neighboring areas.

Lastly, the fourth power interruption will be for 8 hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on November 18, Saturday, to facilitate rotten pole replacement at Brgy. San Miguel, Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte.

Specifically affected are customers in Brgy. Casig-an, San Miguel, Brgy. Kinamayan, and the whole Municipality of Dujali.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.

Safety is of paramount importance to the company and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity area/s where line repairs and maintenance are being done. Please heed and follow warning signs, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment.
