President Rodrigo Duterte says postponing the barangay elections and the Sangguniang Kabataan elections to 2018 is best as the government is not in a position to spent huge amount for the polls.
“I want it postponed because about a thousand barangay captains are into drugs, drug money will flood to ensur etheir victory if we are to held the electoins this year,” Duterte stressed.
Emphasizing the huge amount needed to hold the elections, Duterte quipped “I came mid-term, the elections needs huge amount and I need to attend to urgent concerns for my people, barangay and Sk elections can wait.”
“Alam mo medyo magastos alam year pumasok ako midstream, marami akong problema sa tungkol sa 4P’s I would need money kasi dinagdagan ko ng isang sakong bigas at yong provision sa sundalo pati itong mga God Forbids, huwag lang sana mangyari,” he said.
(You know I came in midstream, I have so many problems with 4P’s I owuld need money because I will a sack of rice and the provision for the military, God fobids, hope it won’t happen).
“I would be saving millions” if elections is postponed, Duterte added.
