Sports complex to rise in Bukidnon town

KIBAWE, BUKIDNON – The Kibawe Sports Complex will soon rise in what used to be a school oval of the Kibawe Central Elementary School in Barangay East Kibawe here.

Leaders of the Indigenous People here known as ‘Datu’ and ‘Bae’ performed ritual prayers on Wednesday for the success of the construction of the project.  Then, the groundbreaking ceremony led Rep. Manuel “Manoy” Zubiri (3rd district, Bukidnon) followed.

The ‘Class A’ 24-hectare sports complex will have a rubberized racing field.

Among those who attended the groundbreaking ceremony were Mayor Reynaldo “Jimboy Tebontu” Ang Rabanes; Vice Mayor Raymundo A. Batao Jr.; municipal councilors; Engr. Salac, the contractor of the project; DepEd Bukidnon-Third District Supervisor Nilo F. Dumapias; Engr. Tan from the DPWH, and the officials of Barangay East Kibawe. – Newsline.ph
