Stranded OFWs pwedeng ihatod pauli sa AFP

DAKBAYAN SA DABAW — Ang nasudnong kagamhanan mahimong makagamit sa mga eroplano ug barko sa Armadong Kusug sa Pilipinas (AFP) sa paghatod pauli sa mga overseas Filipino worker (OFW) nga kasamtangang nangatanggong sa mga quarantine centers ngadto sa ilang tagsa-tagsa ka mga probinsiya.

Kini ang gipahibalo ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque atol sa virtual nga press conference karong Lunes, Mayo 25.

Sumala pa ni Roque nga gimanduan ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte ang Department of Labor (DOLE), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), ug Department of Health (DOH) nga gamiton ang tanang transportasyon sa gobyerno para paghatod pauli sa mga OFW human sila gihatagan og “clearance” nga wala sila’y coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

“Ang sabi po ng Presidente, kung hindi po sapat ang pribadong bus, eroplano at barko, puwede rin gamitin ang mga barko at eroplano ng hukbong sandatahan (AFP),” sulti ni Roque.

Sa pagka karon, ang mga OFW gipanghatod pauli ngadto sa ilang mga lalawigan pinaagi sa tabang gikan sa mga pribadong kompanya sa eroplano.

Matud pa ni Roque, ang mga OFW nga mga taga-Luzon ipanghatod sa ilang tagsa-tagsa ka mga probinsiya sakay sa bus, samtang ang mga taga-Visayas ug Mindanao ipasakay og barko o eroplano.

Iyang gipasaligan ang mga OFW nga hatagan sila og mga quarantine certificates nga ilang mapakita sa mga otoridad didto sa ilang dapit.

“Yung wala pong kopya ng quarantine certificate nila na kakailanganin para makauwi, wag po kayo mag-alala nagkaroon ng sistema ang OWWA na bibigyan po kayo ng kopya ng inyong certificate bago kayo sumakay ng bus, eroplano o barko,” pasalig ni Roque.

Gipahimangnuan usab ni Roque ang mga hingtungdang ahensiya nga siguradohong ang mga OFW nga dunay negatibo nga resulta lamang ang tugotang makapauli. (LBG)
