DAVAO CITY – It is early Christmas for the lone winner of the P265-million Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office Super Lotto 6/49 bettor.

Royena Garma, PCSO General Manager said the lucky bettor guessed the winning combination 06-12-18-20-32-41 with a jackpot of exactly PHP265,353,489.60.

She congratulated the new millionaire, saying Christmas will surely be merry for the winner.

The lucky ticket was purchased in the City of Manila.

To claim the cheque, the bettor must go to PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present two IDs. Also, he/she should bring the winning ticket.

Some 53 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive PHP50,000 each.

The 6/49 Super Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

Garma urged the public to keep on patronizing the products of PCSO as a large chunk of its revenue goes to charity programs.

The PCSO serves as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.

One of its key programs is the Medical Access Program, which is designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide, particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.

The program is funded by revenues from PCSO games nationwide. Newsline.ph
