These are necessary to facilitate the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines’ (NGCP) line works along Bato, Toril.

To avoid a longer power interruption, the loads from the affected lines will be transferred to a nearby substation for 45 minutes anytime between 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23.

Specifically affected are customers from corner Gempesaw Street and Ramon Magsaysay Avenue to Leon Garcia Street, from Soliman Street, Agdao, going to portions of F. Bangoy Street up to N. Torres Street, Obrero, Sta. Ana Avenue to Lizada Street, Quezon Boulevard to Bolton Bridge, including Bucana, City Hal,l and SP Building, portions of Pichon Street, Bolton Extension, and neighboring areas.

Also affected are those in the entire Toril area, including the Carabao statue, Eden Bayabas, Lubogan, Tagakpan, Manambulan, and nearby areas, as well as the entire Dumoy area, which extends to Daliao Toril. This includes Vales Beach, the route to Libby Road Toril Memorial via Bago Aplaya Road, and nearby areas.

Those in the entire Puan area, from Catalunan Pequeno up to Bambu Estates, will also experience this service disruption.

In addition, a load transfer will be conducted for 45 minutes anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23. Customers in the entire Toril area, from the Carabao statue to Eden Bayabas, including Lubogan, Tagakpan, Manambulan, and nearby areas, will experience this switching power interruption.

Meanwhile, the normalization or return of loads to their normal setup will take another 45 minutes, anytime between 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 24.

Specifically affected are customers in the entire Dumoy area, including Daliao Toril, Vales Beach, and the route to Libby Road Toril Memorial via Bago Aplaya Road, as well as nearby areas. Also affected are those in the entire Puan area, from Catalunan Pequeno to Bambu Estates.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. However, it will make every effort to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.

Safety is of paramount importance to the company, and Davao Light reminds the public always to take extra precautions when passing by activity area/s where line repairs and maintenance are being done.
