Terrorist bomber surrenders in North Cotabato

DAVAO CITY – Another Daulah Islamiya Bomb make/expert surrenders in Carmen, North Cotabato on December 5, 2021.

Major General Juvymax Uy, Commander of Joint Task Force Central and 6th Infantry Division described that the surrenderer is a DI bomb maker and expert as one of the high-value targets of security forces but refrains to reveal the identity of the former DI member for the safety of his family.

The former DI member also submitted to Lt. Col. Mundala his 7.62mm M14 Rifle.

Mundala, is the Commanding Officer of 90th Infantry Battalion.

Uy revealed that the former DI member will be enrolled with the DIWATA HAVEN (Dapat Iwaksi at Wakasan ang Terorismo at Armadong Pakikibaka – Hadlangan ang Violent Extremism) Program of North Cotabato wherein he is set to receive livelihood packages and assistance in order to live a sustainable and peaceful life with his family.
