Addressing himself to the general public, Al-ag emphasized “There are mobile checkpoints established in different areas . We ask for your understanding, please cooperate to avoid delay.”
For years, Davao City has established checkpoints at the boundaries of the city but there are random checkpoints being established now, as an added security layer after the August 28 and September 2 bombing in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat which left five people dead and injured 51 others.
Al-ag advised the travelers to prepare their identification cards.
