COTABATO CITY — A magnitude 4.0 earthquake that jolted Moro Gulf Sunday morning has affected the provinces of Zamboanga del Sur, Lanao del Sur, and Maguindanao, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Phivolcs reported that the quake, tectonic in origin, struck at 9:10 a.m. Its epicenter was traced 65 kilometers east of Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur, and has a depth of 012 kilometers.
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said Intensity II was felt in Cotabato City, and Intensity I in Kiamba, Sarangani.
It was also felt in the coastal towns of Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao. There were no reported casualties or damage to properties. -PNA
