DAVAO CITY — Dozens were reported injured mostly students when a 6.4 magnitude earthquake of tectonic origin hits Tulunan, North Cotabato at about 9:04 in the morning, October 29. The 6.4 magnitude earthquake, which happened this morning , may have caused structural and electrical damage to buildings and houses.
Duterte also instructed all school owners, teachers, and other school personnel to subject school structures to a safety inspection with a qualified engineer immediately.
She said that if they find building defects that are dangerous and need repair, they should immediately condemn the area and not allow students to use the same. She added that the suspension of classes tomorrow.
