DAVAO CITY — The Department of Foreign Affairs over the weekend reported the arrival of 132 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who were repatriated from the Middle East.
The OFW’s have safely arrived as a group aboard Gulf Air Flight GF154 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 from Bahrain on Saturday.
They were assisted by the Department of Migrant Workers and other Filipino resource workers such as Bahay Kalinga in Kuwait as part of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration- Migrant Workers’ Office in coordination with the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait.
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) through their personnel provided the arriving OFWs with food, transportation back to their respective provinces, hotel accommodation if needed, and financial assistance.
