SANTO TOMAS, Davao del Norte — Town Mayor Ernesto Evangelista released today the quarterly honoraria for barangay health workers (BHWs), serving as frontlines in the fight against coronavirus disease.

Evangelista said the need to release the honoraria is his way of thanking the health workers for serving their tonwfolks.

A total of 204 Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) from 19 barangays have received their P2, 100 honoraria for the third quarter of this year, which covers July to September.

The honoraria received by BHWs, according to Evangelista, was an additional incentive given by the Municipal Government of Santo Tomas on top of the honorarium being given by their respective barangays.
