Town residents receive 2nd round of ration

DAVAO CITY — Residents of San Isidro town in Davao del Norte already got their second round of food assistance from the government. No less than Mayor Arnel Sitoy of San Isidro personally distributed the relief goods for his constituents on Monday.

Davao del Norte Governor earlier said the provincial government will continue to provide relief assistance to its residents as long as the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) is not yet litted.

Jubahib said all residents of Davao del Norte will receive the same relief goods as the city or the municipal government where they belong has also shared their resources for their people in this trying times.

San Isidro is a small town of Davao del Norte but residents are mostly dependent on cacao production.

Sitoy said given the Enhanced Community Quarantine, he needs to ensure that every resident gets his share from the government ration.

Said town did not have a positive case but all residents who arrived from other places before the ECQ was implemented underwent the mandatory 14-day quarantine.-NewsLine
