DAVAO CITY (August 23)– Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson needs to attune her way of communicating to the need of the public for her to be relevant in her job, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said.
Roque said that Uson will cease to be relevant “if she continues to dismiss criticism over her actions.”
“She will pay a very heavy price if she does not control herself because I think a big chunk of the population have expressed disagreement over what she’s doing. And if she continues to ignore this, she will become irrelevant,” Roque told ANC.
Uson drew heavy criticism due to the controversial federalism video recently posted on her popular blog. She refused to apologize for it. In the video, blogger Drew Olivar performed a so-called federalism jingle while gesturing to his crotch and chest.
Uson said she only wanted to help raise awareness on the Duterte administration’s proposed shift to a federal form of government. Jiann Padillo/ NewsLine
