Valencia City holds back-to-school discount caravan for parents

BUKIDNON – Parents in Valencia City were thrilled as they took advantage of the Back-to-School Discount Caravan that offered discounted prices on school supplies, grocery items, vegetables, and other essential commodities. The event was held on the first day of the caravan at the Valencia National High School Covered Court on August 22.

This marks the second phase of the on-site Discount Caravan for this year in the city.

The initiative was organized by the Valencia City Price Coordinating Council in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Valencia City Chamber, Provincial Agriculture Office, and Provincial Price Coordinating Council.

Families and students flocked to the event to enjoy significant discounts on various items necessary for the upcoming school year. This effort by the local government aims to alleviate the financial burden on parents while ensuring that students are well-prepared for their educational endeavors.
