Woman Hurt in South Cotabato Highway Crash

South Cotabato Road Crash

DAVAO CITY (December 25)-– A woman was seriously injured in a highway accident past 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24, 2025, along a stretch of road in Crossing Cinco, Barangay Liwanay, in Banga, South Cotabato.

Initial reports said the victim was one of two occupants riding a white Ford Ranger pickup truck when the vehicle slammed into a concrete lane barrier. Authorities said the driver allegedly lost control of the steering wheel while traveling at high speed on the highway.

Emergency responders from the Banga local government unit immediately rushed the injured woman to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Her condition was not immediately disclosed.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident.
