3 siblings killed in motorcycle crash in Cotabato province

DAVAO CITY (April 7) —A 17-year-old student and his two younger siblings who were riding a motorcycle together died in an accident on a dark stretch of highway in Barangay Kiyaab in Antipas, Cotabato on Saturday night, April 5, 2025.

Local government officials and investigators from the Antipas Municipal Police Station confirmed on Monday the deaths in the said accident of three siblings, a five-year-old child, a Grade 1 pupil, and their 17-year-old older brother who was driving a motorcycle belonging to their family.

They were returning home when their motorcycle suddenly swerved and crashed into a concrete roadside anti-soil erosion wall.

The siblings died instantly due to injuries and bruises on their bodies caused by the accident.

Municipal officials of Antipas promised assistance in the burial of the three minor siblings.
