30-Minute Power Interruption on July 8 in Downtown Davao City

DAVAO CITY, Philippines — Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) will conduct a 30-minute switching power interruption on Monday, July 8, 2024, between 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m., affecting customers in downtown Davao City. This interruption is necessary to normalize the lines following the energization of NGCP Davao’s Transformer #3.

Specifically affected areas include:

  • Corner of Gempesaw Street and Ramon Magsaysay Avenue to Leon Garcia Street
  • Sta. Ana Avenue to Lizada Street
  • Boulevard to Ecoland
  • Bucana
  • Monteverde to Villa Abrille
  • Neighboring areas

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this scheduled power interruption and will try to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
