56 court personnel in Davao City tested positive for Covid-19

DAVAO CITY –— Fifty-six (56) court employees from different courtrooms of the Hall of Justice Building here tested positive for Coronavirus Diseases (Covid-19), as the court was placed under total lockdown starting September 6, 2021.

Based on documents obtained by Newsline Philippines, the infected employees are from MTCC, RTC, and the Regional State Prosecutor’s Office while the RT-PCT test results of the Office of the Parole and Probation have yet to be released.

As of 5:00 pm on Monday. On September 6, the Department of Health Davao Center for Health Development reported 730 new cases of COVID-19 in the region bringing the total number of active cases to 14,903.

Of these new cases, 373 are from Davao City, 7 from Davao de Oro, 99 from Davao del Norte, 194 from Davao del Sur, 9 from Davao Occidental, and 48 from Davao Oriental.

The DOH also reported 452 recoveries reported today. Among these, 189 are from Davao City, 7 from Davao de Oro, 122 from Davao del Norte, 47 from Davao del Sur, 9 from Davao Occidental, and 78 from Davao Oriental.

But is reported 23 death cases.. Among these, 6 are from Davao City, 12 from Davao del Sur, 4 from Davao del Norte, and 1 from Davao Oriental.

All cases reported today are local cases.

These as local government officials in the Davao region is doubly pushing for vaccination of its residents to cushion the impact of the pandemic and protect the residents.
