Treasure hunting sa Makilala, NCot gipaundang sa DENR

LUNGSOD SA MAKILALA (Agosto 9) —Gipaundang sa local nga  buhatan  sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR),  ang  tag-iya ug yuta sa iyang  pagkutkot, tungod sa pagduda nga kini nag    ‘treasure hunting”  daplin sa sapa.

Sumala sa taho ni Engr. Walter Ruizo, ang Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer sa  lungsod, hugot nga gibawal sa balaud ang pag-pangutkot tungod kay makadaut kini sa kinaiyahan, labi na kay doul kini sa sapa.

Niadtong Mierkules, Agosto 8, mipagawas  si Ruizo ug “Ceased and Desist” order o pagpahunong sa aktibidad  batok kang Cristina Escoto,tag-iya sa yuta didto sa Malaang, Barangay Poblacion.

Gihimo ang pagpahunong, human mireklamo ang mga molupyo sa lugar nga nagsige ug kutkot si Escoto ug walay permiso gikan sa  DENR ug lokal nga panggamhanan sa Makilala.

Gikuyog ni Ruizo si Chief Insp. Johnny Rick Medel, ang hepe sa Makilala police ug si Forest Ranger Avelino Banac,   sa iyang pagtunol sa order.

Nahibaw-an sa DENR nga 20-metros na ang kalawmon sa bangag  sa yuta nga doul lang sa sapa.

Mibalibab si Escoto nga wala sila nag-treasure hunting, matud pa niya, nagbangag sila aron maghimo ug swimming pool ug wala sila nangita ug treasure.

Gipasabot ni Ruizo nga basi sa Presidential Decree 1067, ginadili ang pag-treasure hunting og pagkutkot o pagbangag sa gitawag nga “Riparian Zone” o sa lugar nga doul sa sapa o sa mga busay.-Harold V. Pontongan/NewsLine.ph
