OFW from NoCot jumped off three-storey building in Kuwait to escape from employer

DAVAO CITY (August 27) — An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFA)  in Kuwait has reportedly jumped off from the three storey building of her  employer  last week.

The OFW was identified as Gina Agustin  Aguilar, who hails from Kabacan, North Cotabato. She works in   Kalha, Kuwait.

Aguilar, 28,  is a mother two young children.

In a video posted by Jovelyn Valiente Nobleza,   on August 22, she said Aguilar underwent a major operation at Amiri Hospital after sustaining cuts and bruises.

In a video posted by Nobleza,  Aguilar said she jumped from the building  in an effort to escape from her employer, their neighbors rescued and  brought her to Amiri Hospital.

But despite her condition, Aguilar managed to say “Ako ang may kasalanan.”  In the same video post, Aguilar also said “Bawal  ang video, sabi ng agency, ipa-erase daw yan, nilayas ko, ni-ambak ko (Video is prohibited, my agency told me, they want to erase the video,  I escaped, I jumped).”

Nobleza said Aguilar has been prohibited to talk and show her face on camera. Fellow OFWs in Kuwait earlier posted the video to contact her family in North Cotabato .

The OFW family in Kuwait are doing a rotation work to look after Aguilar and she is now recuperating in the hospital.
