Evangelista throws full support to new fire marshal

KIDAPAWAN CITY –The new city fire marshall has found an alley with Mayor Joseph Evangelista who threw full support to the organization under her leadership.

Last week, Evangelista welcomed Fire Chief Inspector Leilani Bangelis as the new head of the City’s Bureau of Fire Protection.

The fire  marshal has the responsibility to make sure that working environment is safe in case of a fire and ensure that building laws relative to fire protection are followed.

Evangelista committed to support Bangelis when the later tendered a courtesy visit to the chief executive on January 28 at City Hall.

Evangelista vowed that the City Government will provide the needed logistics for said office.

The Mayor told the new City BFP Chief of the rehabilitation efforts being undertaken at present after the October 2019 earthquakes .

The BFP is vital in the disaster mitigation programs of the City Government, the Mayor‘s message to the new City BFP Chief.

Bangelis served as Fire Marshal of the Surallah Fire Station in South Cotabato prior to her assignment here.

She replaced City Fire Marshal F/CInsp Marjorie Resurreccion who assumed as BFP Chief of Carmen, North Cotabato.
