DAVAO CITY  –Fr.  Carlito Garcia of the Holy Family Parish in Bulakanon, Makilala, North Cotabato, made the rounds of several areas in his parish to give parishioners Easter Sunday blessings on board an open vehicle.

Holding the image of the risen Christ, he blessed parishioners he passed.

Before the blessing on board the vehicle, Esparagoza held a mass with only a few people around. Since the government imposed the prohibition of mass gatherings to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, mass in the Catholic churches has been suspended.

A parishioner Shella Bandoy Sombio did a selfie after she was blessed.
