23 of Davao City’s 182 barangays have COVID-19 cases

DAVAO CITY —Twenty three of the 182 barangays in Davao City have been listed as among those who have positive cases of the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, said Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio on Monday.

Duterte-Carpio who was interviewed by phone patch at the city government’s operated Disaster radio revealed that the following barangays have positive cases of COVID-19. These are:

A-FIRST DISTRICT

  1. Matina Aplaya
  2. Talomo proper
  3. Catalunan Grande
  4. 19-B (Bacaca)
  5. 11-B
  6. Matina (Lopez Village)
  7. Ma-a
  8. Bago Aplaya
  9. Matina Pangi
  10. Bago Aplaya
  11. Bajada
  12. Lizada
  13. Garcia Heights

B-SECOND DISTRICT

  1. Buhangin (Dumanlas)
  2. Angliongto
  3. Indangan 
  4. Cabantian
  5. Aquino
  6. Agdao proper
  7. Tigatto

C-THIRD District

  1. Toril proper
  2. Saloy
  3. Daliao

As of the latest report from the Department of Health, Davao City has the highest number of positive cases of residents affected by the dreaded coronavirus.

Based on the geographical location, the barangays which has most cases are either near the New Matina Gallera or have big land areas where cockpit aficionados have their breeding farms.-NewsLine
