Villanueva takes oath as new PDEA Chief

DAVAO CITY — Wilkins Villanueva, the chief of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Northern Mindanao has formally taken his oath as the director-general of the agency.

Villanueva took his oath before Judge Arthur Abundiente of the Regional Trial Court Branch 25 in Cagayan de Oro City past 8 o’clock in the morning on Thursday.

Villanueva succeeds Aaron Aquino’s post, the later has been appointed as president and chief executive officer of the Clark.

Both Villanueva and Aquino served then Davao City Mayor and now President Rodrigo Duterte in various capacity.
