DAVAO CITY — An enraged President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday night warned he will finish all corrupt officials in the government insurance agency PhilHealth.

Duterte who was ranting about the corruption and delays in the tower permit application of the telecommunications companies during the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging and Infectious Disease (AITF-EID) briefing aired Monday night, vowed to finish all involved in the alleged P15-billion anomaly involving the agency.

In between his warning, Duterte quipped “Kaya ako talaga ā€˜wag kayong magkakamali itong — itong PhilHealth. Sabi ko yayariin ko kayong lahat, maniwala kayo.Ā  Iyong mga inosente naman, wala kayong dapat i-ano, tahimik lang kayo at continue working. (So, do not mess up, this Philhealth. I told you I will finish all of you, believe, to the innocent ones, there’s no need to–, just keep quiet and just continue working).

If the involved officials were able to evade the previous President’s or what, this time, he said, he will push them to the hard wall.

Those who will be found violating the law, Duterte said “Ngayon, ā€˜yung mga nahuli, talagang magdusa kayo. Sinabi ko sa iyo, I can — I have never been serious as I can ever be in my life, huwag kayong magkamali talaga itoĀ hahabulin ko kayo hanggang preso. Malalaki ho ang parusa ng graft and corruption”.

He urged government officials to stop the agony of the people and stop the anomalous practices.-Newsline.
