DAVAO CITY –— The National Bureau of Investigation XI (NBI XI) filed sexual abuse charges against a personnel of Philippine Coast Guard before the City Prosecution Office this afternoon, April 24.

NBI XI Regional Director Arcelito Albao identified the accused as Khalid Abdullah, 25 years old, who is stationed at the Eastern Mindanao Naval District in Panacan, this city.

Albao said the victim is a 21-year-old model whom Abdullah contacted to serve as usherette for an early morning Coast Guard activity on April 18.

Based on the narrative of the victim, Albao said “She revealed that the suspect called her for an event and she will be picked-up from her place at 4:00 a.m. on April 18, because the event is very early and the call time is at 5:00 a.m. but when they reached Barangay Cabantian, the suspect swerved the vehicle and brought her to an abandoned house and at gunpoint told her it was a hold-up and she must accede to his demand,” the hapless model was forced and submitted herself.

The victim felt relieved when a jogger passed the area, but only to know that she was brought into an Inn somewhere in Agdao district where the second molestation took place.

The suspect released the victim past 7:00 a.m. and warned to kill her and her family should she report the incident to the authorities.

The victim who has been traumatized was scared and went to the NBI on April 22, when Abdullah messaged her for a dinner that day,

The chilling victim went to see Albao and another investigator for help; it was then that the entrapment was planned.

Abdullah was arrestec at the vicinity of Doña Vicente village here while he was about to fetch the victim at gunpoint.
