ILIGAN CITY – In a bid to extend assistance to those in need, the local government of Iligan City implemented the Oplan Bisita program, providing support to six beneficiaries from Barangay Del Carmen and Barangay Sta. Filomena.

The initiative, led by the Community Affairs Office and Barangay Affairs Office, aims to address the immediate needs of qualified individuals.

The beneficiaries received essential items such as medicine, food packs, and other services, ensuring their well-being during these challenging times.

Contributing to the program are healthcare professionals from the City Health Office and Gregorio T. Lluch Memorial Hospital, including doctors and nurses who offer their expertise and care to the recipients.

Moreover, various personnel from the City Social Welfare and Development, Senior Citizen, Persons with Disability, and City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office are actively involved, providing valuable support to the program.

The local government remains committed to its initiative, striving to continuously provide essential services to all residents of the city. The ultimate goal is to reach and assist individuals in all 44 barangays of Iligan City. (City Government of Iligan)
