DAVAO CITY – An autopsy conducted on the victim’s body has revealed that Sheila Lagsaway, the helper killed in Davao City, died from cerebral hemorrhage.

The examination indicated a possible head injury as the cause of the hemorrhage.

Nenita Cepada Pagatpatan, a 70-year-old employer of the victim, has been identified as the prime suspect in the crime. The police were able to identify Pagatpatan through the CCTV footage obtained from the area. The footage captured Pagatpatan passing by the deceased victim’s body.

Yesterday, June 20, the senior citizen suspect was formally charged with murder in relation to the case. However, many are skeptical about Pagatpatan’s involvement in the crime, given her advanced age and reported health issues. Some speculate that there may have been another individual involved in the incident.

The police are conducting a thorough investigation to ascertain the motive.

As the investigation progresses, further updates will be provided by the Davao City Police Office.
