DAVAO CITY --- Former Mutya ng Dabaw 2023 candidate Aziayana Patricia Mandalupe has filed her Certificate of Candidacy as the chairman of the Sanguniang Kabataan of Barangay Dumoy this city.

Mandalupe, 20 years old, was one of the candidates for Mutya ng Dabaw last March, his brother ArtemJohn who was the former SK chairperson accompanied Azia in filing her Certificate of Candidacy before the Commission on Elections Friday afternoon.

Azia, as she is fondly called is a first year fashion and design student.

"My advocacy is to make the youth in the communities of Dumoy productive through projects about Climate Change and responsible parenthood because today we really need to educate the youth further because there are so many people on social media that they forget to develop the communities we live in, if we encourage them back, they will all be more productive and help with the problem of climate change especially now that there is an impending El Niño," said Mandalupe.

Six other aspiring SK kagawad joined the siblings at the Comelec.-ABCF
