Employee of Bangsamoro parliamentarian shot dead

DAVAO CITY –— An employee working for a Bangsamoro parliamentarian was killed by two motorcycle-riding gunmen Tuesday night while the victim was inside his car just in front of a shopping mall in Cotabato City.

Major Amil Andungan, Jr, chief of Cotabato City Police Precinct 2, and Bangsamoro regional police director Brig. Gen. Allan Nobleza identified the victim as Sulaiman Kusain Macabangon, 50.

Macabangon was an employee under Bangsamoro Parliamentarian Romeo Sema, a member of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority.

Sema is a top ranking official of the Moro National Liberation Front.

The suspects immediately fled the crime scene.

Police investigators and intelligence agents of the Cotabato City Police Office are still unmasking the identities of the two suspects.
