DAVAO CITY —In the CCTV footage captured by the owner of a pre-loved shop locally known as “Ukay-Ukay” three young men entered the establishment along Aurora extension, Barangay zone 3, Digos City in the province of Davao del Sur on Saturday at around 10:25 p.m.

The three suspects wearing jackets and bonnets pretended to be customers but one of them was holding a gun and ordered the security personnel to enter the store while the other went straight to the cashier’s desk and took the bag while the third one casually entered the store and broke the glass which displayed the expensive watches.

The suspects hurriedly left the shop onboard a motorbike while the store owner immediately reported the incident to the police.

But after three hours, the police caught the suspects drinking alcohol outside their rented house in Roxas Extension.

The police said they were about to question the three for violating the liquor ban but they ran away and accidentally dropped the firearm and were later arrested.

When the police presented the suspects for identification, the shop owner positively identified them as the same persons who robbed their shop.

The police recovered the watches, cash of 15,000 pesos, and personal belongings taken by the robbers.

The suspects were identified as Alias Boboy 22 years old, Alan 23 years old, and Ikoy 21 years, a police officer from Sharif Aguak Maguindanao del Sur.

The suspects are now in custody at the Digos City police station.
