Village employee and call center agent arrested in drug bust

DAVAO CITY – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the National Bureau of Investigation arrested three individuals inside a drug den on April 30.

The PEDA report revealed that a barangay employee and a call center agent in a buy-bust operation in Banana Street, Ulha Village, Barangay Talomo Proper on Tuesday, at around 5:15 p.m. on alleged drugs den in the area.

The target of the operation, who was said to be a drug den maintainer, was caught after selling to a poseur buyer who is a PDEA agent worth 10,000 pesos of suspected shabu.

The PDEA identified the suspect as Juvylyn Valenteros Reyes, 46 years old, call center agent and resident of the said area.

The law enforcers also found Jeffrey Amoranto inside the house of Reyes and a drug den visitor identified by the PDEA as Christopher Silao.

The authorities discovered 15 sachets containing suspected shabu worth 88,400 pesos and assorted drug paraphernalia.
