Notice: Scheduled Power Interruptions on October 6 and 7

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will be conducting necessary switching power interruptions on October 6 (Sunday) and October 7 (Monday) to facilitate substation work at the Don Ramon Substation.

Schedule:

  • October 6 (Sunday): Power will be switched for 30 minutes anytime between 12:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m.
  • October 7 (Monday): Normalization of power will occur for 30 minutes within the same timeframe.

Affected Areas:

  1. Puan Substation to Bambu Estate:
    • Catalunan Pequeno
    • Davao Bukidnon Road to McArthur Highway Bangkal
    • Ulha Village
    • Coca Cola Bottlers
    • Dumoy areas to Toril (including Vales Beach and Eden Bayabas)
    • Sirawan and Binugao
  2. Downtown Area:
    • J.P. Laurel Avenue Bajada to Bankerohan (up to MTS)
    • Sandawa Road (including Torres Street, Obrero, C. Bangoy Sr. Street, Quirino Avenue)
    • Bonifacio Street, Ilustre, Magallanes Streets
    • Areas near GMall Toril to Sirawan
  3. Buhangin Area:
    • Camella Northpoint to NHA Buhangin
    • Panacan to Unifrutti and Tibungco Public Market
    • Diversion Road Panacan to F. Bangoy Airport entrance
    • Buhangin Memorial, Gaisano Grand Citygate, Cabantian Road, Amakan, Indangan, and neighboring areas
  4. Other Areas:
    • Steel Asia, Holcim
    • Bunawan to Licanan, Tadeco, Sto. Tomas, Dujali
    • Entire Tibungco area, Ilang, Mudiang, and up to Panabo area
    • San Vicente area to the Municipality of Carmen (including DICT and Panabo Wharf)

  • Davao Light apologizes for any inconvenience and will work to restore service as quickly as possible. Some delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Please exercise caution around work areas and adhere to safety signs.
