Daycare  teacher’s tragic death mourned by parents in Cotabato province

DAVAO CITY — The parents of daycare teacher Amparo Nioda in Makialal, Cotabato Province are grieving over her tragic death.

Nioda met her demise on Thursday night while crossing the national highway in front of Sto. Niño Church in Makilala town, North Cotabato. She was struck by a pickup truck, which resulted in her unfortunate passing.

Expressing their sorrow, Joel Anunciado shared on Facebook, “Rest in Paradise Teacher Amparo Nioda, Thank you so much for your kindness, especially for your love and dedication to teaching the children at Suarez Daycare Center.”

Harvey Virador remembers teacher Inday” Nioda’s nickname as a very religious woman who had close ties with his family “She is like a mother to me.”

Numerous parents also took to social media to reminisce about Nioda’s passion for teaching. She was a beloved educator at Suarez Daycare Center located in Purok Mahayahay, Poblacion Makilala.

The incident occurred during light rain, with the poorly lit highway experiencing heavy traffic.

Despite being swiftly taken to a nearby hospital by the Makilala Disaster Rescue Team, Nioda succumbed to her injuries.

During transportation, her head was bleeding profusely, marking a tragic end to a life dedicated to nurturing and educating young minds.
