Davao City – The Social Security System (SSS) recently trained 160 government sector partners on SSS benefits, services, and digital tools as part of the Barangay and Other Offsite E-Centers Online Services Training (B.O.O.S.T) Program.

SSS Department Manager III for Member Education, Atty. Marissa C. Mapalo, highlighted the program’s goal of equipping personnel managing offsite SSS e-centers with comprehensive knowledge and skills.

“We aim to help our partners master the navigation of our website, My.SSS portal, and the SSS Mobile App to assist their constituents efficiently. By enhancing their digital expertise, we want them to maximize the benefits of our digitalization efforts,” Mapalo said.

Since 2022, the SSS has partnered with Local Government Units (LGUs), National Government Agencies (NGAs), and State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) to establish offsite e-centers. These centers provide a convenient alternative for accessing SSS online services, reducing the need to visit SSS branches.

SSS Davao Branch Head Alnora Y. Presbitero stressed the importance of accessibility in delivering government services.

“The SSS is committed to bridging the digital divide by continuously improving our online platforms and ensuring accessibility in barangay halls, municipal offices, and job sites. We extend our gratitude to our program partners for their collaboration in this learning initiative, bringing quality services closer to our members, pensioners, and beneficiaries,” Presbitero said.

The B.O.O.S.T Program shows the commitment of SSS to empowering its partners and stakeholders through digital innovation and accessibility.
