Scheduled Power Interruptions in Northern Davao City on February 1 and 3

Davao City – Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) has announced scheduled switching power interruptions on Saturday, February 1, and Monday, February 3, 2025, affecting customers in the northern part of Davao City. These interruptions are necessary to facilitate substation works at Pampanga Substation.

To minimize disruption, affected loads will be transferred to a nearby substation during the following timeframes:

  • February 1 (Saturday):
    • 45-minute power interruption anytime between 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m.
    • Affected areas:
      • Entire Malagamot area
      • From Pampanga Substation to Lanang
      • Lots for Less Pampanga, Waterfront Insular Hotel, Lizada Village, Azuela Cove
      • Crossing R. Castillo, Doña Pilar Village, Old Airport Road, Doña Salud, Legaspi Oil, Interco, PLDT Sasa
      • Mercury Drug Sasa, Star Oil Sasa, Km. 10 to Km. 13 Sasa, and up to the corner of DPWH
  • February 1 (Saturday):
    • 30-minute power interruption anytime between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
    • Affected areas:
      • From Pampanga Substation to Lanang
      • Lots for Less Pampanga, Waterfront Insular Hotel, Lizada Village, Azuela Cove
      • Crossing R. Castillo, Doña Pilar Village, Old Airport Road, Doña Salud, Legaspi Oil, Interco, PLDT Sasa
  • February 3 (Monday):
    • 45-minute power interruption anytime between 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. for normalization or restoration of loads to their normal setup.
    • Affected areas:
      • Entire Malagamot area
      • From Pampanga Substation to Lanang
      • Lots for Less Pampanga, Waterfront Insular Hotel, Lizada Village, Azuela Cove
      • Crossing R. Castillo, Doña Pilar Village, Old Airport Road, Doña Salud, Legaspi Oil, Interco, PLDT Sasa
      • Mercury Drug Sasa, Star Oil Sasa, Km. 10 to Km. 13 Sasa, and up to the corner of DPWH

Public Advisory

Davao Light apologizes for any inconvenience caused by these necessary maintenance activities and will try to restore power as scheduled or earlier. However, unforeseen circumstances may result in delays beyond the planned timeframe.

For public safety, Davao Light urges residents to take extra precautions near maintenance areas where line repairs and heavy equipment operations are ongoing. Please follow posted warning signs and safety advisories.
