Duaw Davao showcases Culture, Art, Tourism, and Local Flavors at Rizal Park

DAVAO CITY (June 26) – The vibrant celebration of culture and community officially kicked off as Duaw Davao: Films & Arts Exhibit, Turismo, and Food Bazaar opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Rizal Park on Wednesday, June 25. The event was led by City Administrator Atty. Francis Mark Layog and First District Councilor Pilar C. Braga.

Duaw Davao brings together a showcase of local films, artistic talents, tourism exhibits, and Davaoeño cuisine, offering a rich and immersive experience for residents and visitors alike. The initiative highlights Davao City’s creative spirit and promotes its unique cultural identity through engaging displays and flavorful offerings.

“This celebration is not just about entertainment—it’s about bringing people together, promoting our local artists and entrepreneurs, and inviting everyone to experience the soul of Davao,” said Councilor Braga during the ceremony.

Open to the public, the event features eye-catching art exhibits, short film screenings, tourism booths, and a food bazaar featuring beloved local dishes and delicacies.

Duaw Davao runs throughout the weekend at Rizal Park, welcoming everyone to celebrate Davao’s vibrant culture and community spirit.
