Fire at Senate Building in Pasay quickly extinguished; no casualties

MANILA (November 30) – A fire broke out at the Senate building in Pasay City on Sunday morning but was quickly extinguished by responding firefighters, with no casualties reported, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

The BFP deployed personnel immediately after receiving the report at around 6:30 a.m. The fire reached first and second alarm levels at 6:50 a.m. and 6:58 a.m., respectively, before being brought under control at 7:43 a.m. and fully extinguished by 8:20 a.m.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the blaze.
