MANILA (December 7) – The Philippine National Police (PNP) has deployed intelligence and tracker teams to find contractor Cezarah Rowena “Sarah” Discaya and others accused in the alleged ghost flood control project in Davao Occidental.

Acting PNP chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said they are gathering all critical information to ensure the swift serving of arrest warrants, following President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to prioritize the case.

The PNP has expanded coordination with the NBI, Bureau of Immigration, Coast Guard, airport authorities, and local government units, especially in areas where Discaya may have traveled. Community watch groups have also been alerted.

Other respondents include Ma. Roma Angeline Remando, representatives of St. Timothy Construction Corp., and several DPWH personnel.

Nartatez urged the public to report any information that could help locate the suspects, stressing that authorities are ready to pressure them to surrender.
