BI processes 167K travelers in two days over Undas break

DAVAO CITY — During the Undas break, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) reported processing a total of 167,538 travelers on October 31 and November 1 (All Saints’ Day).

This marks a 12% increase from the 149,257 passengers handled during the same period last year.

On October 31, there were 41,078 arrivals and 43,341 departures nationwide.

At Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), Terminal 1 recorded 14,010 arrivals and 15,666 departures, while Terminal 3 saw the highest traffic with 19,223 arrivals and 20,495 departures.

On November 1, the BI processed 42,858 arrivals and 40,261 departures. This surge in international travelers highlights the bustling activity during the holiday and underscores the importance of efficient processing and monitoring by immigration authorities.
