Big time oil price rollback on May 14

 DAVAO CITY –— Last week’s four-day trading yields the big-time oil price rollback tomorrow May 14.

The Department of Energy announced on Friday that gasoline prices could decrease by up to P2.25 per liter, while diesel prices may see a maximum reduction of P0.85 per liter.

Meanwhile, kerosene prices are also anticipated to decrease by as much as P1.00 per liter.

  • Diesel prices – Down by P0.50 per liter
  • Gasoline prices – Down by P2 per liter
  • Kerosene prices- Down by P0.85 per liter

In separate advisories, Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex), Petron Corp., Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Corp. said they will lower prices per liter of gasoline by P2.00, diesel by P0.50, and kerosene by P0.85.

Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, PTT Philippines Corp., and Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.

The changes will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14.
